Leading the Charge: Pioneering Accessible Hemp Solutions for Animals
Hempseed is an emerging ingredient with huge potential for companion animals. We’re not just here to sell you a product, we’re committed to powering your companion’s wellness. This is why we work with experts across the industry to better understand the applications of hemp for your animal:
- Veterinarians, to understand how hempseed is leveraging animal health & performance to new heights.
- Animal nutrition professionals, to assess current evidence and understand where hempseed can fit into the equine & canine diet.
- Industry regulatory professionals, to continue to provide only the best quality product for your beloved animal companions.
- Industry professionals, for boots-on-the-ground feedback and case studies of incorporating hempseed into the diets of equine athletes across all areas of sport.
Our commitment to quality goes beyond VHP. Quality isn’t just a buzzword for us, it’s a value, and it all stems from our founder, Jennifer.
Meet Jennifer
I’m Jennifer Soltys, founder of Hush Botanix and the driving force behind Hempseed Shine. Like you, I believe our animals deserve the best, and I won’t settle for anything less.
At Hush Botanix, we hold our hempseed to the highest standard. Our products are made with meticulous integrity and purpose, adhering to regulatory guidelines from Health Canada, CFIA, AAFCO, and FDA/CVM.
With an established career in Animal Feed Standards (Hemp Feed Coalition (HFC), Equine and Pet Food Committee, and Canadian Hemp Trade Alliance (CHTA) Animal Feed Standards Committee), we believe standards aren’t just something we should do, it’s what is best for your animal.
I work alongside a powerhouse team of forward-thinking, animal-loving leaders who share these values. We know we’re not just creating a product, we’re building a resilient future for hemp farmers, processors, and the animals we love.
This mission is bigger than one person, it truly takes a whole village. And we’re just getting started.
Because when it comes to the health of your horse or dog, compromise has no place: only the best will do.
“We know hemp is a reliable, healthy choice for humans, and the planet but also beholds significant benefits for livestock and companion animals.”
