“Finding a raw feed ingredient that provides high concentrations of both high quality protein and fats, AND is low in starch has been an absolute game changer in my feeding program for my young growing horses in training! No fillers, no soy, no molasses, no unknown ingredients. Plus the quality of Hempseed Shine is second to none, compared to some others on the market: you open the bag and I promise you are going to want to just eat it yourself!”

Adam & Leah Dyck

“We started our Belgian gelding, Charlie, a competitive pulling horse, on Hush Botanix hemp products at the beginning of his competition season this spring.

Charlie was new to us and had some time off so needed to gain condition and muscle. A team of equine professionals was assembled for Charlie, to give him the best care and competitive advantage, one of the first steps of which was to engage an equine nutritionist. As part of the program developed for him the nutritionist recommended hemp be included in his diet and directed us to Hush Botanix/Jennifer Soltys.

Very kindly, Jennifer offered to deliver a trial bag of Hempseed Shine to us as she was going to be in our area. We started Charlie on it and he was on this product for the duration of his successful season.

We found he gained muscle well, had lots of energy as well as endurance, and his recovery time was quick.

He and his teammate won each pull they attended on their way to the Calgary Stampede. At Stampede his team won the Class of Class award! This award is based on a number of criteria, one of which is the condition and turn out of the horses.

Charlie, and a number of his herdmates, will remain on Hempseed Shine even during the off season as we believe in the benefits!”

Owen Grykuliak

“I am a high school rodeo athlete and have been feeding Hush Botanix Hempseed Shine since the beginning of winter. When I started feeding my head horse, Twister, who is 23 years old & my calf-horse, Old Bay, who is 24 years old, they both started to have an extra shine. With older horses they need extra protein to keep strong muscles. I rely on Hush Botanix Hempseed Shine to keep them looking, and feeling their best.”

Kasondra Amon

“I have been riding and training horses for over 20 years, and being in the performance horse world, it is very easy to get caught up in all the fancy feeds, all the new shiny things, the new “in” fad. I have always just steered clear of it, and focused on the basics for my horses.. good hay, good water, minerals, salt, etc.

With having senior horses in our pen now, and horses that are now going to be having a busy career I have been on the lookout for a good solid addition to our feed program that is just a wholesome feed that meets the actual needs of our horse’s diet. When I came across Hush Botanix Hempseed Shine, I learned that it has a high quality protein and fat, but low in starches and no unknown ingredients. I was super excited to get my hands on it! I immediately put our 27 year old gelding on it, and within a week. I couldn’t believe the improvements. His top line was filling out, his muscle definition was coming back, and his energy levels were up! I couldn’t believe it! He actually came out of winter looking 200% better than he went into it.

It’s an absolute no-brainer for me to add this to our feed program from developing the young ones, all the way to keeping our seniors happy and healthy. 🤍”

“I was introduced to Hempseed Shine, after struggling to find a supplement for broodmares that I felt good about. After introducing this supplement to my herd, it was immediately evident how much they liked it.

We have noticed an improvement in topline, coat and feet in all of our animals.  Feeding hempseed shine to the young horses, riding horses and broodmares, it is showing benefit in them all!  I appreciate the simplicity of the product and have trust that it will always be a staple in my feed room.”

REVERSE K EQUINE (KELSEY MORGAN)

Kelsey is a seasoned professional in the horse industry with years of experience in both English and Western disciplines. While Kelsey had always favoured flax seed for her horses’ nutrition, she decided to give hempseed a try.  The results exceeded her expectations, with all her horses showing improved condition and vitality.  Recognizing the significance of proper nutrition in training, Kelsey now swears by Hush Botanix as a key component of her program.

Carolyn Rustemeier

Carolyn is a horse trainer, colt starter and teacher that helps her in-laws with their small cattle operation which provides a great platform for starting and training horses for Ranch and Arena Work. Carolyn’s innate grace and skill at understanding both horses and people make her a favorite amongst Clinic attendees and students in her lesson programs.

“When Jennifer reached out to me to try the Hemp Shine, I was very concerned about the palatability, quality and cost effectiveness.  I had used other hemp products before and just didn’t see the results I had wanted and I had a tough time getting the horses to eat the products.  Skeptically, I agreed to try some and I am so glad she gave me the opportunity.  Having multiple horses in training, varying in age, size and discipline; I was really able to put it to the test.  My horses love it, and it adds extra fats and protein without making them hot.

I am very excited to be a part of the Hush Botanix Team, and see how my horses look in the spring. ” -Carolyn
